Nostalgic Movement

Nostalgic movement is a gym focused on bringing back the joy of movement with a fun twist on the 80’s fitness culture.

They need a logo that represents their fun and playful culture as well as bringing in some 80’s elements. They want an animated version of their logo as well to use for socials and their website. The animation can be seen on my website or my digital portfolio. The logo will also have to work as a sticker design for people to put on their water bottles, which they get when they sign up for the gym.

Nostalgic Movement also want a strong social media presence, bringing more positivity and joy to the fitness space online, and to educate and inspire. They also need employee and merch t-shirt

Approaching this project, I knew I wanted it to be a mascot logo because I wanted a charming character that had no obvious gender, to represent the energy of people’s inner child. To really bring the character to life, I made an animation on a “sticker”. I had a few mascot ideas, but I settles on this fresh and goofy looking character.. .
